To be a leading and innovative medical education institution with an international reputation, founded upon cultural values and nationalism inspired by Pancasila, and committed to enhancing the quality of life of communities.

SCIENTIFIC VISION OF THE MASTER OF HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT STUDY PROGRAM, FMUB

To develop internationally recognized knowledge and technology in hospital management, emphasizing innovation in integrated, sustainable, and patient-centered clinical service quality through penta-helix collaboration, thereby contributing to the improvement of community quality of life.

MISSION OF THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA

  1. To organize internationally standardized education that produces graduates who have faith and devotion to God Almighty, possess noble morals and character, are independent, professional, and have an entrepreneurial spirit;
  2. To conduct research to generate science and technology that are beneficial to society;
  3. To carry out community service to enhance the university’s role as an agent of change, a pioneer, and a disseminator of science and technology, as well as an agent of the nation’s economic development based on noble local wisdom values;
  4. To provide higher education and manage a university that is excellent, equitable, and sustainable.

Each mission has objectives that serve as directional guidelines for implementing the vision and mission of FMUB, namely:

Mission of the Department of Medicine

  1. To deliver internationally standardized integrated education, research, and community service in the field of medicine that produces graduates who are devoted to God Almighty and possess high moral integrity, noble character, independence, professionalism, and innovation.
  2. To develop the institution as an agent for the advancement and dissemination of medical science and technology, grounded in noble local wisdom values, in order to improve the quality of life.
  3. To implement excellent, equitable, and sustainable higher education governance.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA

  1. To produce graduates with academic capabilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, professionalism, independence, a strong work ethic, discipline, noble character, and insight into cutting-edge technology, enabling them to compete and excel at both national and international levels;
  2. To create a welcoming, highly competitive, and high-tech higher education environment capable of developing the potential of every member of the academic community;
  3. To produce technological, artistic, social, and cultural innovations that play a role in the nation’s economic development and build self-reliance, based on noble cultural values, and are superior at both national and international levels;
  4. To realize university governance that is accountable, effective, efficient, up-to-date, and integrated, enabling it to compete at both national and international levels.

STRATEGIC TARGETS OF THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA

Strategic Targets: For each mission, one strategic target is established as follows:

  • Improving the quality of graduates based on the “Emancipated Learning, Emancipated Campus” (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) principles.
  • Improving the quality of an innovative and adaptive curriculum and learning process.
  • Improving the quality of human resources for the development of science and technology.
  • Realizing high-quality governance.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL VALUES OF THE MASTER OF HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT STUDY PROGRAM, FMUB

The organizational values within the Master of Hospital Management Study Program emphasize organizing education, research, and community service based on scientific methods by upholding the values of TRUST (Togetherness, Respect, Unity, Sage, Trustworthy) to improve the quality of hospital services within the framework of enhancing the quality of life. The elaboration of each value is as follows:

  • Togetherness

Everyone in this organization works together to achieve the vision, mission, targets, and objectives of the Master of Hospital Management (MMRS). There is no differential treatment among organizational members. Everyone shares a collective responsibility in carrying out their respective roles.

  • Respect

Having mutual respect and trusting that every role performed by each individual makes a vital contribution to the organization.

  • Unity

Differences in the characters and roles of everyone in the MMRS organization are not obstacles; rather, they can be united into one exceptionally strong MMRS character.

  • Sage

A person embodying the value of “sage” is not only outstanding because of their intelligence but, moreover, they use their knowledge wisely and prudently. They are also adept at reading their environment and have a forward-looking perspective, making them predictive and careful in their actions. The “sage” value instilled in each individual makes them rich in ideas and eager to share them with others.

  • Trustworthy

Being reliable means an individual can uphold a mandate by consistently prioritizing dedication, responsibility, and devotion. This value serves as the foundation for earning trust from others, thereby fostering mutual trust among individuals within the organization.
